I just ordered more stuff from Bountiful Baby. I purchased a new convection/toaster oven. I know there are risks in using these types of ovens. I do have an oven thermometer and a large enough oven that no parts will touch the hot elements. I was cooking in my regular home oven, but found out that it's poisonous to bake vinyl in the same oven that you cook food.
Here's the oven I'm going to be using: Black & Decker Convection/Toaster Oven

I also ordered some eyelashes and "Honey/Sugar" arms for Juliet by Marissa May. Juliet comes with closed fingers. I prefer at least one open hand. Both arms have open hands. I'm not sure if I'll use both on Juliet, or keep one of her original arms.
I plan on doing a Youtube video of the box opening of the newest kits I'll be getting next week. (March 14th 2013)
I think it would help educate those who haven't seen these kits in person to know what color they are (neutral or one that needs a lot of neutralizing), size and how the vinyl feels. Being new to the reborn world, it's always a surprise to me when I get a new kit. Hope (by Cheryl Webber) was pretty much what I was expecting. I didn't have to do any neutralizing to the kit. No pre-washes. It was such a nice color of vinyl to work with!

Sorry I don't have a picture of the limbs. This is "Hope" by Cheryl Webber. This is the head before I put any paint on it.
The vinyl was a great color, and very easy to paint.
The only thing I didn't like about the kit was baking it. The smell was strong! I wish I would have used Water Borne Air Dry Paints on this one instead of Genesis Heat Set Paints. Wow!

Speaking of BountifulBaby. They added 3 NEW kits to their website today. 2 of the kits are 27-28"! Now that's a BIG baby! There is also an 18" kit. "Elsie" by Marissa May. I love Marissa May's kits. They are just adorable! I have 2 coming, Sam and Juliet. The other 2 new kits are by Donna RuBert. I have one of her kits coming, "Heather".
