I ordered new paints from MacPherson's Arts and Crafts. I originally purchased small jars of paint, and I'm running low on reds, and brown. I ordered larger jars of paint, 1 oz each. I bought some pre-mixed Peaches and Cream colors. I just LOVE how Sam turned out. I gave her Peaches and Cream coloring. Her coloring is gorgeous in person! I find myself picking her up a lot and cuddling her over all the other babies I've reborned.
I had over $50 in paint but not enough to qualify for free shipping, MacPherson's offers free shipping within Canada on purchases of $100 or more, so I put a "Little Monkey" by Bonnie Brown in my cart. They're sold out everywhere, and I couldn't resist getting one!
I think I'm going to paint my mom's baby next, Dumplin by Donna Rubert.
I always thought moms liked whatever their kids made them, even if it was a little "off".. My moms critical of what I make. She did say she really liked Sam and that I was getting better with painting. (My mom lives 500 miles away, so she only sees the babies online.)
I'm on day 3 of processing a new batch of mohair. The first day was separating it all, and getting into a bath over night. Then another soak, and now it's on the final soaking. I haven't offered any mohair for sale yet, but I have used it on "Hope" who has 80% of her hair rooted.
I forgot to mention that I have cloth diapers (for dolls, or diaper covers for real babies) available in my Etsy shop! I only have a few sizes and patterns available right now. I purchased more fabric for the outsides of the diapers, but I need to pick up more minky for the insides. I think I have enough for a few more diapers.
And one more thing, I offer free shipping on orders over $200! And I have a 10% your purchase for returning customers! :D
Have a great day!
