I started loom knitting when I began reborning in February 2013. I really enjoy it. I have round looms as well as long rectangle ones. I have made hats, baby cocoons and blankets. Making blankets as been the most enjoyable for me.
The blanket above is just a little stroller size blanket. It can be used to swaddle a 15" reborn, but too small for larger babies. I finished this one, and gave it to my first reborn, "Sam" the "Kirsten" kit by Stephanie Sullivan.
The neat thing about the long loom is, you can use both sides of the loom and make a 22" blanket, or you can wrap all the way around leaving one end open, and make a 44" blanket, which is what I'll be looming later today. It will be the same green yarn as the blanket above.
