I started working on Sam on Monday (April 15th 2013). The above picture is before any paint was added.
I painted her with Genesis Heat Set Paints. I'll be ordering more paints soon. I really loved how the Peaches and Cream skin tone turned out on Sam. I'll be ordering large jars from MacPhersons Arts and Crafts soon! I'll be ordering another new kit too! *Excited*

I wanted to learn Peaches and Cream skin tone for my mom's reborn. She wants a light skin with blushing. I have only one other kit besides her's to finish, and thought I'd get practicing. I have Ashley (by Violet Parker) still boxed up. She's a limited edition #194/200.
I was surprised to see a mottling layer in Peaches and Cream skin. I did have to do quite a few flesh layers on top to blend the mottling, but it does look more natural with it, than without. I'm 31, and have mottling. :P

This is my last belly plate. I'd like to get more. It's so cute to see baby's bellies! XD
I love seeing this skin tone. It's so beautiful!
The picture above is a close up of the 3D skin. I use this technique to seal the paints.
Here she is, all painted and dressed. I'm going to root her hair and give her eyelashes, but that's going to be a while. For now, she's hanging out with the other babies in my room. :D
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you're having a great Thursday!
